Er. Rasheed pays glorious tributes to Ashiq Hussain

Langate 15 March (KNO) : Despite rains thousands joined funeral of Ashiq Hussain War, one of founder members of AIP who had yesterday passed away along with his colleague Azad Ahmad Bukhari after their vehicle met with an accident at Hamray Pattan. Emotional scenes were witnessed in the entire area when the dead bodies reached to their native places.

Religious scholars and other luminaries spoke on the occasion and paid rich tributes to Ashiq Hussain for his social and political commitment. Speaking on the occasion Er. Rasheed paid rich tributes to late Aashiq Hussain and said that the deceased had played a key role in persuading his joining to politics in 2008. Er. Rasheed said that contribution of Aashiq Hussain in up liftment of downtrodden people of Langate, his commitment towards political aspirations of Kashmiris and sincerity in resisting suppression and oppression through peaceful struggle can never be forgotten.

Er. Rasheed expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and said that all AIP cadres stand with the family of Ashiq Hussain in the hour of tragedy.(KNO)
